Child's Heart

Artist Statement
With Child’s Heart, I invite the viewer on a journey back to a place we all know, yet too often forget: childhood.

In this series, my signature character—the Human of Glass—interacts with cardboard elements he appears to have built himself. These simple, fragile, makeshift constructions symbolize the boundless imagination of childhood, that raw and instinctive creativity we all once possessed. A piece of cardboard could become a spaceship, a fortress, or a secret hideaway. Back then, everything felt possible.

Through these paintings, I seek to reconnect with that original creative energy—the one that drove us to dream big, to create fearlessly, to invent entire worlds in which we could escape and feel free. Here, cardboard becomes a poetic material: humble yet powerful, capable of carrying our wildest hopes and our need for wonder.

Child’s Heart is an ode to that part of us which still dares to dream, no matter how much time has passed. A silent call to remember the child we once were—and perhaps, still are.
