Color is life

Artist Statement
This exhibition at Vins Gallery marks a very special moment in my journey: it is my first time presenting my work in Asia, and more importantly, the very first time that my character appears in three-dimensional form.

For a long time, I dreamed of seeing the Human of Glass step out of the canvas. With this hand-painted sculpture, made from transparent resin to preserve the illusion of glass, that dream has become reality. Seeing my character exist in space — with light, depth, and volume — is an incredibly emotional experience.

This pop-up show in Taipei is a chance to connect with a new audience, to share my universe with new collectors, and to offer a fresh perspective on a figure who has accompanied me for years. The Human of Glass remains true to his nature — fragile, luminous, silent — but here, he becomes more tangible, more alive.

It’s a meaningful milestone for me, and I’m deeply honored to experience it here, in Taipei.
