Artist Statement
It is with great emotion that I present Human of Glass, my very first solo exhibition. This moment marks an important step for me: the chance to share, for the first time, the universe I have been quietly building over the past few years.
Through this series of paintings, I introduce the character who has accompanied me since 2020: the Human of Glass. Transparent, fragile, luminous—this figure gives form to what words often struggle to express. It is the projection of the soul, revealing both our cracks and our strength, everything we carry inside but rarely show.
Painting this character is a way to tell stories without writing them. Each work invites viewers to project their own emotions, memories, and dreams onto this glass body that seems to hover between disappearance and radiance. The Human of Glass is a metaphor for the human condition—vulnerable, filled with light, searching for meaning, connection, and escape.
Every painting in this exhibition is a window into a suspended moment, an intimate space between the outside world and what stirs within us. I hope these silent, luminous images will resonate with those who encounter them—and that within them, each viewer might catch a glimpse of themselves.
