Artist Statement
Fairytales are more than stories — they are vessels of imagination, wonder, and transformation. They accompany us from childhood, shaping our dreams and values with symbols that transcend time and culture.
In For the Queen, I revisit the story of Cinderella, not to repeat it, but to reinterpret it through a playful, emotional lens — one where the magic shoe becomes an object of devotion, memory, and longing. It’s a tribute to the power of desire, and to how small objects can carry immense emotional weight.
Once Upon a Time celebrates the intimate ritual of storytelling between a parent and child — a suspended moment where reality fades and the impossible becomes true. Through this quiet transmission, imagination becomes legacy, and dreams take root across generations.
Together, these works explore the fairytale as a mirror of our inner worlds — where fantasy helps us understand ourselves, connect to others, and glimpse the magic hidden in the everyday.
It is a true honor to take part in this exhibition alongside so many inspiring artists, and to share my work for the very first time in Thailand.
